Ensembles

Many musicians feel that the real joy of music lies in playing in a group or an ensemble. We have several active ensembles at Sarv Music Academy including but not limited to Junior and Intermediate Strings Ensemble, Traditional Iranian Music Ensemble, Setar Ensemble, and Fusion Band.

After reaching a certain level of proficiency on their instruments, our student are encouraged to participate in one of our group lessons or ensembles. We also accept students, who have taken private lessons elsewhere, to join in our ensemble classes after an assessment session.

In ensemble and group classes, students learn the skills necessary to play music together, rehearse, and perform as well as to improve their musicality.
