Abolreza Rostamian (Vocal Technique and repertoire, Choir Vocal Coach, Duduk)

Abolreza Rostamian is a classical vocalist and duduk player. He holds Master’s Degrees in opera and voice from Komitas Conservatory in Armenia (where he also pursued the duduk), and Conservatory of Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, Italy. He has performed as a soloist with Armenian National Opera Orchestra, Ballet National Theatre, and Alexander Spendyarian Opera, and collaborated with La Verdi Auditorium Choir and performed under Riccardo Chailly, John Axelord, and Zhang Xian. He also appeared as a soloist in the Verdi Baroque Orchestra, Teatro sull’Acqua, and Civica Baroque Orchestra. Before his vocal studies, he learned traditional Iranian music from his father Ali Rostamian, a renowned master in Iranian style singing and the radif, and studied tar at the Tehran Conservatory of Music. In his teaching method, Abdolreza helps students discover their voice using the correct vocal technique, expand the range, quality and agility of their voice while singing appropriate repertoire that they choose from western classical or Iranian folklore repertoire. Abdolreza currently teaches private vocal courses at Sarv Music Academy and has the role of vocal coach of Sarv Choir.
